Last updated: July 2026 By installing or using Tunvio (the "App") you agree to these Terms of Use. If
you do not agree, please do not use the App and uninstall it. Tunvio is solely a viewer / player application. The Tunvio Project does not
host, stream, distribute, sell, or curate any IPTV, video, audio, or other
content. All channels, movies, and series that become visible inside the App
originate exclusively from the source you configure yourself in a profile
(Xtream Codes API, M3U playlist, a direct stream URL or a Stalker portal). The
App merely establishes the technical connection to that source you have chosen
and renders the signal locally on your device — or, where you ask it to, passes
it on to a playback device on your own network (Chromecast / DLNA). You are solely responsible for ensuring that your IPTV provider or playlist
holds all rights necessary to transmit the relevant content to you. Use of the
App with unauthorised, infringing, or otherwise unlawful sources is strictly
prohibited. Violations may have criminal and civil consequences for you — the
Tunvio Project bears no responsibility for them. The Tunvio Project has no commercial, contractual, technical, or personal
relationship with any provider whose credentials a user may enter into the App.
We do not endorse, advertise, or support any specific provider. The choice of
provider is made by each user on their own responsibility. Certain features of the App may be offered as paid premium features via in-app
purchase or subscription. Tunvio displays additional information about movies and series from The Movie
Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified
by TMDB. The enrichment is part of how the catalogue is displayed and has no
separate on/off switch; what you can do at any time is delete the metadata
cached on your device, under Settings → Data & Storage. Requests are made
through a caching proxy operated by the Tunvio Project, which supplies the
required TMDB key server-side; you do not need a key of your own. See the
privacy policy ( If you search for subtitles online — or switch on automatic loading, which is
off by default — Tunvio queries OpenSubtitles through a caching proxy likewise
operated by the Tunvio Project, which supplies the required credentials
server-side; you do not need an account of your own. Subtitles are
user-generated third-party content: the Tunvio Project neither creates nor
reviews them and gives no warranty as to their availability, accuracy, timing,
or completeness. There is no commercial or other relationship with
OpenSubtitles. On platforms that support it, the App can record a running stream or save an
item for offline viewing. This happens entirely on your own device and draws on
the source you configured yourself; the Tunvio Project is not involved in the
transfer and receives neither the files nor any information about them. Whether you may make such a copy is your responsibility. It follows from your
provider's terms and from the copyright law applicable to you, which in many
jurisdictions permits a private copy only, and only for your own use. Passing
recordings or downloads on to third parties, publishing them, or otherwise
making them publicly available is prohibited. The files are stored on your device. If you have chosen a destination folder of
your own for them in Settings, they remain there when you uninstall the App and,
depending on the folder chosen, may be readable by other apps — the privacy
policy ( The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind,
express or implied. In particular, no assurance is given that the App will be
uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that any specific
source will be reachable or compatible. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Tunvio Project shall not be
liable for any indirect, direct, incidental, special, or consequential damages
arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not
limited to: legal consequences resulting from the choice of unlawful content
sources, loss of data, loss of use, content received from, or damage caused by,
third-party servers. Mandatory statutory liability (e.g. for intent, gross
negligence, or under product liability law) remains unaffected. The following is in particular prohibited:
(a) any use that violates applicable law;
(b) reverse engineering of the App for malicious purposes;
(c) using the App to automatically retrieve or redistribute third-party content
or data, beyond the recording and download features the App itself provides
(see Section 7);
(d) any use that harms third parties or infringes their rights. These Terms of Use may be updated when future changes to the App warrant it. The
current version is always available at For legal enquiries, contact support@tunv.io. Provider details are set out
